Discovering the green Slovenia through adventure activities like canyoning, rafting, climbing and hiking, as well as socializing in amazing areas. Getting to know some of the highlight places in Slovenia, such as Bled, Bovec, Bohinj and Kranjska Gora, during the camp. It is an unforgettable action in the middle of untouched nature. Slovenia is a country where you can drink water from many rivers and people are aware that nature has to be protected. It is known as a Green Country. Adventure camp is a total knockout into the wild.

Itinerary at a glance:
Day 1: Arrive in Bohinjska Bitrica Camp area, cycling to Bohinj lake and old villages in the afternoon, meeting and welcome party in the evening
Day 2: Canyoning in Jereka Canyon in the morning, afternoon climbing in Belvie or Bohinjska Bela climbing area
Day 3: Hiking mountain Viševnik (2050 m) and Debela Peč (2014 m), afternoon for swimming in Bohinj lake, barbecue picnic and lectures about green Slovenia
Day 4: Emerald trip into the hearth of the Julian Alps with rafting on Soča River
Day 5: Canyoninig in Grmečica Canyon, afternoon custom activities (climbing, cycling, relaxing, rafting trip…), farewell party in the evening and Bled at night
Day 6: Departure
Activities: cycling trip in Triglav National Park to Bohinj lake and to old villages Srednja vas, Studor and Jereka; canyoning in nice and easy Jereka and wild Grmečica Canyon; hiking in Julian Alps on Mountain Viševnik (2050 meters) and Mountain Debela Peč (2014 meters); rafting on famous emerald Soča River; climbing in Belvie climbing area; party; Bled at night; discovering legends about Julian Alps and natural attractions of Gorenjska region; socializing and hanging around with adventure people and meeting new friends.
DAY 1
Arrival in Bohinjska Bistrica camp area. Meeting, socializing and becoming acquainted with your new home for the next six unforgettable ADVENTURE days. Traditional Slovenian lunch, rest and ACTION!!! In the afternoon, we will cycle through nice habitats and Triglav National Park to the lake Bohinj. Water in Bohinj Lake is totally clear and is an amazing attraction, nice also for swimming and other water sports. Cycling will then continue after Lake Bohinj through the old villages Studor and Srednja vas to Jereka village. We will also discover traditional old Bohinj hayracks. Before going to sleep, we will have a welcome party.

DAY 2
ACTION DAY! Canyoning in Jereka canyon. Passing through the natural pools, narrow and wild paths and discovering unknown places with wetsuit, harness and helmet. Nice and undemanding canyon to get to know the basics of canyoning. Canyoning is a special way to get to the wild and get wet. In the afternoon we will do sport climbing with vertical pleasures in Bohinjska Bela climbing area. Sport climbing is a special experience above the ground. We invite you to a safe and enjoyable climb under the watchful supervision of our climbing instructors in the beautiful outdoors. A magical day of adventures, adrenalin shots and unique discovering of hidden places in Jereka Canyon.
DAY 3
This day we will be heading towards Julian Alps and in Triglav National Park, we will do all day hiking on Debela Peč (2014 m) and Viševnik Mountain (2050 m). Park is strictly protected, wild and amazing. From the hike we will see all the highest mountains and ranges with the highest in Julian Alps Mt. Triglav (2864m). During the hike we will be also discovering beautiful mountain flowers, trees and wild nature habitats in the Triglav National Park. We will have Lunch in a traditional mountain hut with traditional specialties. We will also see old pastures and Herdsman’s cottage. Rest in the afternoon in our camp and swimming in Sava Bohinjka or lake Bohinj. In the evening, we will have a picnic party in which everyone will participate. Have you ever made a pancake?
DAY 4
Emerald trip. Experience the unspoiled nature of northwestern Slovenia in the refreshing pools and rapids of our mountain beauty the Soca River. Enhance the taste of alpine freshness in the Julian Alps. Re-experience the Soca (Emerald River) front at the authentic scene of Hemingway’s Farewell to Arms. And wish a happy descent to a rafter on the wild river. Places you’ll see: Bled, Bohinj Lake, Bovec, Kranjska gora, Planica, Vrsic Mountain pass (1611 m), Trenta Valley, Kobarid…… and you’ll see more: waterfalls, rifts, mountains and other undiscovered natural beauties. An unforgettable all day trip with a van, train, boat and on foot.
DAY 5
In the morning, we will through one of the best and freak canyon in Bled area and in Slovenia called Grmečica canyon (English translation is Thunder Canyon). It will take us around four hours to get through all the jumps and rappels. Grmečica is a special canyon with beautiful pools, clear water and amazing jumps. This canyoning is really an unforgettable experience. After lunch we will have optional activities in the afternoon to do what everyone would like to do. By your wishes we will go climbing, hiking, cycling or relaxing by the Sava Bohinjka River. In the evening we will have a final farewell party and barbecue with a slide show of pictures from the past adventure days.
DAY 6
Free morning after breakfast for conclusions of the camp and the last thought; Slovenia is great and like most of our visitors you will say: “I’ll be back”; Arrival in Ljubljana Airport at 11am and 14pm.

Price includes: accommodation in camping area Danica (5X nights) in tent, all guided outdoor activities, equipment for all activities, 5X breakfast, 2X lunch and 5X dinner (barbecue and traditional Slovenian plus coffee, tea and juice during the meals), lectures about Slovenia, Julian Alps and canyons, transfers during the camp and picking up + dropping off point in international Airport Ljubljana.

Weather in Slovenia and in Julian Alps mountain range in that period is supposed to be sunny and stable, day temperatures in the valleys where Camp is located are between 20 and 30, in the mountains between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. Bohinj Outdoor Camp is located by Sava Bohinjka River under the mountains of Julian Alps in the camp area Danica. Far from big cities and modern technology.
Everybody who likes nature, outdoor activities and hanging around with people who like adventure activities and nature. Age does not matter.
Difficulty level
It is good to be a basically active person. Previous experiences with activities are not needed, activities are personally adjusted.
Camps include pick-up and drop-off at the Ljubljana International Airport (Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport). On arrival day on Tuesday 31.7 at 9am and 11am and drop off all campers at Ljubljana Airport on Sunday 5.8. at 11am or at 14pm. By request we adjust picking up and dropping off at some other time and other place. Accommodation

Food
Breakfast will be served between 8.00 – 9.00 in the morning, lunch at 13.00 – 14.00 and dinners between 19.00 and 20.00 in the evening. All vegetarians will receive meat free food. Food in a wide range from classic European barbecue to traditional Slovenian food will be served. In camp fee are included 5X breakfast, 5X dinner and 2X lunch in camp Danica.
All the necessary equipment for activities during the camp is provided (equipment for canyoning, rafting, climbing, cycling, …). Campers need to bring along:
• Shoes – walking boots with good tread, waterproofed leather for longer walks and sandals or trainers for relaxing
• Socks – thick, made of wool, coolmax
• Jacket – lightweight, wind & waterproof
• Trousers – long ones, carry a second pair of trousers / shorts (summer) or. 2/1 (zip off)
• Shirt or active underwear – good evaporation
• Mid – layer – warm (fleece)
• Warm hat, gloves – wool or fleece
• Sunhat – sun protection
• Swimwear, travel towel
• Sunglasses, sunscreen, lip salve
• Rucksack – light, easy to fold, strong material, adjustable straps, rain cover for the hiking
• First aid kit (tape, plasters, adhesive, insect repellent,..)
• Other – water bottle, toilet paper, strings, pencils, safety pins, pocket knife, refreshing handkerchiefs
• Enough extra clothes
